I began the journey by leaving the comfort of consistent monetary support and going to depending on fundraising. Someone told me a long time ago that begging for support was never good. Being that I really never listened to good advice in the past, why start now?

Well, it taught me one great thing. If I trust in the One who called me, then things will happen that can't be explained. Over the past 3 years of doing this, my family has not gone without. We have been blessed over and over.

With all that said, I wanted to give an update of what happened this past week. Our board of directors put together a retreat board meeting. We were allowed to stay at a beautiful home in Sky Valley, GA owned by a faithful supporter of our ministry. There, we brainstormed, prayed, laughed, and planned for the upcoming year. It was amazing to get away from cell phones (there was no service) and allow our minds to be refreshed and open.

Great strides were made within the organization that will benefit it for years to come. The most important aspect that came from the meeting was that all raised funds will go toward our projects. It means that 100% of gifts donated to Kingdom Builders will be used for on-site supplies and materials. When you give, your money will be used exclusively for someone in need.
I think this will greatly benefit the organization and each faithful donor. Thank you for supporting KB in the past and the future.
